GUIMARES, Portugal (AP) – Arsenal failed to maintain the lead once again, drawing a draw in injury time as they drew 1-1 with Europa League Victory on Wednesday.

Arsenal worked throughout the game in heavy rain and did not have a single shot on target until Shkodran Mustafi headed Nicolas Pepe's free kick 81 minutes into the match.

But Bruno Duarte equalized with a head kick after Gunners failed to cross the area – the fourth consecutive match in all competitions that Unai Emery's team gave up on the lead.

Arsenal remained at the top of Group F with 10 points from four games, while last-placed Vitoria took the first point of the campaign.

The unusual departure time from 3:50 pm local time on Wednesday led to the game in a half empty stadium. The match was changed from the usual Europa League schedule on Thursday to avoid two matches in the same region on the same day, which puts a strain on security features. The Vitória stadium is close to local rival Braga, which hosts Besiktas on Thursday.
