Nadine Coyle health: I'm A Celebrity contestant scare ‘I was getting so ill’

Nadine Coyle, 34, made her way to stardom by joining Popstars: The Rivals and earned a spot in the girl group by beating thousands of candidates who attended auditions across the UK. Nadine teamed up with Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberly Walsh to make up Girls Aloud, which has amassed a £ 30 million fortune and 20 consecutive UK top 10 singles. Prior to her success, however, Nadine received devastating news when she found a chest lump at age 17.

Nadine went through a series of tests and said, “The doctor said there was definitely a lump and referred me to the hospital for an ultrasound.

"It was a case of waiting to see. If nothing is cancerous again, it may just be lymph nodes and may disappear over time.

"I thought it could be cancer." Breast lumps have many different causes.

Most are due to something harmless, such as non-cancerous tissue growth or fluid buildup.

What causes breast cancer?

The causes of breast cancer are not fully understood, making it difficult to say why one woman can develop breast cancer and another cannot.

The NHS added: “There are known risk factors that affect your likelihood of developing breast cancer. Some of them you can do nothing about, but there are others that you can change.

"The risk of developing breast cancer increases with age. The condition is more common in women over 50 who have gone through menopause.

"If you have close relatives who have had breast cancer or ovarian cancer, you may have a higher risk of developing breast cancer."

What are the first symptoms?

The first symptom of breast cancer that most women notice is a lump or an area of thickened tissue in the breast.

“You should see a general practitioner if you notice a new lump or area of thickened tissue in one breast that did not exist before, a change in size or shape of one or both breasts, a discharge of nipple fluid, lumps or swelling. underarm, ripples on the skin of the breasts, rash on or around the nipple or change in the appearance of the nipple, ”said the NHS.

Fortunately for Nadine, the test result came back clear and she received a health certificate.

Nadine said, "With these things, you better know sooner or later. And now I'll keep an eye out and monitor myself."

If you notice any unusual symptoms in your breast, it is important to talk to your doctor about the possible cause.
