Central arrived at the vilacondense emblem in 2016.
Second-tier Casa Pia announced on Friday they will sign Nigerian defender Kelechi John, who represented Rio Ave under-23 team, until the end of the 2020/21 season.
About the move to Pina Manique, the young player believes that Casa Pia can get off the back of the table and fight for maintenance in professional leagues.
"I am here to help the team keep up. I want to demonstrate my worth to help the team. I believe that from January we will climb the table and that everything will go well," said the player after signing a contract with Casa Sink.
Kelechi John is central, 21 years old and joined Portuguese football in 2016 for Rio Ave's under-19 team from the Nigerian club Plateau United and has since remained in the club's service.
Casa Pia is currently second to second in the Liga, with eight points and just two wins from 14 games. The Lisbon team is led by Ricardo Peres, who is already the third coach to take over this season, after Luís Loureiro and Rui Duarte.
