The young striker, promoted by Pedro Ribeiro, has been a starter for the last two games and made his debut against Pevidém and may even have grabbed the spot despite competition
Robinho was one of the under-23 players who benefited from the change of coaching at Belenenses. Since Pedro Ribeiro replaced Silas, the young striker has been an option in every game. The day before yesterday, in the second consecutive match as a starter, the Belenense jersey 75 made his debut in scoring against Pevidém, in a match of the Portuguese Cup, and soon with a beautiful heel finish.
After a good performance against Famalicão, Robinho again showed arguments for starting and with the goal scored in the Portuguese Cup could have definitely grabbed the spot. Even with the arrival of Silvestre Varela and Marco Matias, coach Pedro Ribeiro should not abdicate the 22-year-old striker with whom he had previously worked under U23.
With training from Linda-a-Velha, Sporting and Académica, Robinho was at Sacavenense when he was hired by SAD do Belenenses in the summer of 2018. Last season, he was one of the highlights of the under-23 team and, from January, began to work regularly with the main squad. He even entered a call for Silas, but did not leave the bank.
This season he has already played four games for Belenenses's main squad, two as a starter, and made his debut in the last game.
